Former - Hans Nielsen

Hans Former Nielsen, or just Former, is widely considered to be of the most skilled pipe makers in the world. His work speaks for itself but his resume is also extremely impressive: initially trained by the great Poul Rasmussen, one of the first pipe makers in Denmark, he later spent a decade with W.Ø. Larsen and has rubbed shoulders with people like Teddy Knudsen, Tonni Nielsen, Svend Bang, and Emil and Jess Chonowitsch, just to mention a few. He has more than sixty years of experience, which is quite obvious when handling his pipes, and we at The Danish Pipe Shop are extremely proud to represent him.
