Welcome to Our New Website – The 4th Generation of danishpipeshop.com

After 10 years with our old website, we felt it was time for a proper update. A lot has happened over the past decade, both in technology and in our own little world of pipes. Our old system was beginning to show its age. In short, time had caught up with it.

We've therefore spent most of 2026 developing and preparing the 4th generation of danishpipeshop.com.

It's been quite a project – but an exciting one too!

What did we want to improve?

First and foremost, we've focused on a few important areas:

• Better security:
En mere moderne og sikker platform med bedre beskyttelse mod cyberangreb, hacking og andre digitale trusler – både for os og for dig som kunde.

• More payment options:
Improved international payment solutions, including the addition of UnionPay, Alipay and WeChat Pay.

• Ready for the future:
A more flexible technical platform that makes it easier for us to introduce new technologies and features.

But just as importantly, we wanted to preserve what makes The Danish Pipe Shop special.

The pipe geek factor must, of course, remain as high as ever!

We love pipes, tobacco and everything that goes with them, and we want our website to remain a place where you can explore, immerse yourself in the details and perhaps learn a thing or two along the way.

At the same time, we've wanted to give the website a fresh visual look and make shopping with us even easier and more enjoyable – wherever in the world you may be.

4,000 products, 30,000 images and three languages ...

Changing a website might sound fairly straightforward. But when around 4,000 products, 30,000 images and content in three languages all have to be lifted out of one system and land in exactly the right places in another, it becomes quite a puzzle!

We've tested, tested and tested again. Even so, we know there may still be the odd error, something slightly out of place or a little quirk hiding here and there.

So if you come across anything that doesn't work properly, or simply seems a bit strange, we'd really appreciate hearing from you!

Feedback, suggestions, praise and constructive criticism are always very welcome.

Because even though technology keeps moving forward, one thing has never changed for us: Our business depends on happy and satisfied customers. That has been our guiding principle since 1969, and it always will be.
