This Christmas pipe continues the 7-year theme and series ‘The Happy Prince, which began in 2023 and will end in 2029.
It is based on the characters of the (children’s) book ‘The Happy Prince and Other Tales’ written in 1888 by the Irish poet, playwright and author OscarWilde (Oscar Fingal O'Fflahertie Wills Wilde) (born 16 October 1854 in Dublin/Ireland, died 30 November 1900 in Paris/France).
This being the 2nd pipe in the series, it depicts The Swallow on the Reed.
The pipe is a classic group 4 Bent Dublin pipe (4114) in Shell Briar finish with contrasting semi-Easyloader rim. It features an engraved, Sterling Silver band.
The impressive pipe tamper is 65 mm long and crafted from solid Sterling Silver. It depicts in great detail the Swallow settling on the Reeds.
The highly collectable White Spot Christmas pipes and tampers are presented in a leather-bound book in elegant cream marble design. Each set is accompanied by its numbered limited edition certificate.
This edition series is strictly limited to annually only 300 pipes worldwide.

“Visiting Copenhagen, I knew I had to visit The Danish Pipe Shop. What a GREAT experience. First, the staff are so friendly and VERY helpful (Nikolaj, Daniel, and Kevin). Yesterday, I purchased a number of pipes. They pulled all the stock for each one I was interested in so I could choose the ones I liked best. There was no rush or pressure, but I definitely bought more than I was planning! Good for them and great for me. I’m VERY happy and satisfied with my purchase! Then today I came in to 1) smoke in their smoking lounge and 2) arrange an order of several falcon stems and bowls for friends back home. They showed me the products every step of the way and made it so easy. I would say to not hesitate to order online. Better yet, if you’re in Copenhagen, be sure to stop by. As a pipe smoker, this has been a highlight experience for my visit to Copenhagen!”
“Nice pipe and cigarshop. Love stores like this. Friendly and helpful staff.”
“A wonderful shop that is an increasing rarity these days. I was only there for a short while but I was taken with the variety of products available but more importantly with the customer service. It was excellent!”
“Fantastic shop with super friendly staff. Told him I wanted something I can't get in the US and he walked me through a bunch of local tobaccos. Obviously pricier than the US because Scandinavia treats tobacco like the devil, but worth it to contribute to a great shop.”
“I purchased two beautiful Erik Nording Freehand pipes from The Danish Pipe Shop. I live in the UK so it was a Postnord / Royal Mail delivery. It arrived quickly, I'm a very happy customer. Customer service is amazing. I had a few questions about the pipes and Nikolaj explained everything to me. Thank you Nikolaj, I appreciate your time and help. I highly recommend The Danish Pipe Shop!”
