The 2023 Collectible of the Year marks 75 years since the original Zippo car first took to the highways and captured the hearts of onlookers across America.
Inspired by a parade of “product-mobiles,” Zippo founder George G. Blaisdell had a 1947 Chrysler Saratoga completely overhauled into a pair of larger-than-life Zippo windproof lighters. The spectacular sensation and would go on to tour the contiguous 48 states, dazzling paradegoers and fair attendants wherever it went.
This Armor® High Polish Black Collectible depicts the iconic Zippo car in all its glory using our Photo Image 360° process, which extends the design around all sides of the piece. Laser Two-Tone is used to reveal the Zippo flame and 75th anniversary icon in luxurious brass tones, while the car’s chimney is illuminated by a sparkling crystal.
Finally, the gold-plated insert is engraved with a repeating Zippo motif for the very first time, distinguishing this Collectible from all others before it. Each lighter is consecutively numbered, features a Luxury bottom stamp and comes in special collectible packaging. Comes packaged in a gift box. For optimal performance, fill with Zippo lighter fuel.

“Visiting Copenhagen, I knew I had to visit The Danish Pipe Shop. What a GREAT experience. First, the staff are so friendly and VERY helpful (Nikolaj, Daniel, and Kevin). Yesterday, I purchased a number of pipes. They pulled all the stock for each one I was interested in so I could choose the ones I liked best. There was no rush or pressure, but I definitely bought more than I was planning! Good for them and great for me. I’m VERY happy and satisfied with my purchase! Then today I came in to 1) smoke in their smoking lounge and 2) arrange an order of several falcon stems and bowls for friends back home. They showed me the products every step of the way and made it so easy. I would say to not hesitate to order online. Better yet, if you’re in Copenhagen, be sure to stop by. As a pipe smoker, this has been a highlight experience for my visit to Copenhagen!”
“Nice pipe and cigarshop. Love stores like this. Friendly and helpful staff.”
“A wonderful shop that is an increasing rarity these days. I was only there for a short while but I was taken with the variety of products available but more importantly with the customer service. It was excellent!”
“Fantastic shop with super friendly staff. Told him I wanted something I can't get in the US and he walked me through a bunch of local tobaccos. Obviously pricier than the US because Scandinavia treats tobacco like the devil, but worth it to contribute to a great shop.”
“I purchased two beautiful Erik Nording Freehand pipes from The Danish Pipe Shop. I live in the UK so it was a Postnord / Royal Mail delivery. It arrived quickly, I'm a very happy customer. Customer service is amazing. I had a few questions about the pipes and Nikolaj explained everything to me. Thank you Nikolaj, I appreciate your time and help. I highly recommend The Danish Pipe Shop!”
